How to get rid of squeak noise when braking

The problem with disc brake is squeaking noise when you press the brake level! It is unavoidable, as acolyte brake pads and disc can be easily contaminated during trail riding. After each trail ride, I make it a habit to sand the brake pad and clean the brake disc with alcohol. These should be done after after cleaning the bike. It helps to eliminate the squeak noise.

If the squeaking noise persist, and you do not want to buy a new brake pad, try to spray the brake pad with degreaser. Sand it thoroughly until the black residues on the surface disappear. Test ride the bike in a safe environment, and press the brake numerous time to run in the brakes. The squeaking noise should disappear. Otherwise, replace the new brake pads :)
